‘Gado gado’ itself is a tasty local dish with a recipe that varies island-to-island, chef-to-chef, or possibly even nightly. Basically, it’s a medley, a mix of vegetables, and a playful breed always doused in delicious peanut sauce.
As a restaurant offering primarily Pan-Mediterranean cuisine with menus thought up by an ingenious Dutch chef – on an Indonesian island – it’s easy to see why the name is an apt one.

Chez Gado Gado is an exotic and ambient blend in a magical location with unsurpassed views of the orange sunsets across the Indian Ocean. Staffed by passionate and genuine professionals, this delectable secret is an exotic blend indeed.
Get your feet dirty and walk right back to sip your craft beer or well made Cocktail by fantastic staff at Chez Gado Dado. Instantly welcomed by one of their staff make you feel special right away. We do understand that Chez Gado Gado only wants the best for their customers and you literally feel the 5 Star Service.

Chez Gado Gado offers all-day dining and an expertly crafted menu of Pan-Mediterranean and classic Indonesian fare. There's a tapas menu with platters for two in classic and vegetarian iterations, as well as a special group menu for larger groups and events. Some recommended dishes include the Mahi- Mahi or delicious Carbonara.

Expat Choice Bali has sampled all 4 Tapas which came highly recommended by a guest who was sitting right next to us on our visit. Sliders, with mouthwatering beef patties, Vegetable Spring-rolls, simply crispy and juicy inside, deep fried Chicken Wonton and fried Calamari were just a few to get your hands around.

Do not forget to leave some space for their award winning desserts. Vanilla Pannacotta with Strawberry Compote, Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream or this delicate crisp Chocolatet Bar with Raspberry Ice Cream was to die for. Finish it off with a sip of Sweet Wine "Hatten Vino de Bali" or an excellent made Espresso which sometimes can be hard to find at the beach.
