The culinary tribe at SO/ are refreshing their Saturday boozey brunch from 12 midday til 2pm by introducing an irresistible new menu including a chocolate fondue set for every table and a new premium gin package at Mother Of All Brunches.

Think 3 tiers of crazily over-the-top sumptuous food platters plus an over-flowing seafood spread to choose from. Everything is made for sharing and served straight to your table like your own personal buffet.

Menu highlights include warm Pita served with Homemade Baba Ganoush; Grilled Truffle & Cheese Toasties with Bufala & Gruyere Cheese; Assorted Mini Sliders; Steamed Garlic Crawfish; Salt & Herb Rubbed Whole Bone in Chicken Leg; and a chocolate fondue set for every table served with Churros, Fresh Berries, Mini Donuts, Fresh Tropical Fruits & Marshmallows.

In excellent news for the Expat brunch crowd, there seems to be an ever expanding list of Saturday brunch options. Our latest brunch experience was provided by the oh so chic team at Xperience restaurant at SO / Singapore on Robinson Road.

An eatery defined by eclectic French chic design, with a bustling open kitchen – it’s taking brunch to the next level (literally) with their over the top brunch towers.

It is indeed time to indulge at Xperience with their insane 3-tier brunch towers and the bottomless booze options ranging from Prosecco, wine and beer ($48++), to Tattinger champagne and gin ($68++) and the premium glitzy gin cart option ($88++) – certainly something to whet everyone’s whistle.

Our group of five lavish ladies decided to start with the Loaded Seafood Platter – a generous spread of seafood on ice comprising all the best bits of seafood including Boston lobster, tiger prawns, scallops, mussels and a dozen oysters.

With our tastebuds tantalized, our cameras were at the ready for the arrival of the Mother of All Brunch Towers – a truly imposing triple-decker delight.

Highlights of this drool-worthy brunch tower included Grilled Truffle & Cheese Toasties with truffle paste, bufala and gruyere cheese, Australian Beef Ribeye with caramelized onion and dijon mustard, poached tiger prawn skewers and our very own chocolate fondue.

It was certainly a delectable feast and more than enough to keep us going for several hours of grazing amidst the fine champagne and conversation.

The Saturday brunch at Xperience is a fabulous option for groups and the bigger the better so you can enjoy several of the towers on offer. With the flexibility of different beverage packages and price points it surely is a brunch to please everyone and will most definitely provide plenty of Instagrammable foodie photo opportunities for those so inclined.
