The House of Honey is located in the Swan Valley WA. The honeys are unblended, unheated and pure with nutrients and goodness intact. You can taste the difference! Busy cafe and shop in a honey farm, serving Devonshire tea, coffee and cakes, plus honey tastings.

Founded by husband and wife team, Rupert and Kim, The House of Honey opened its doors in 2010 as a revolutionary honey showroom. With bees under threat globally, the objective was to not only create amazing food experiences, but to create a bee sanctuary where bees are safe and hives are sustainably farmed. They also opened with a goal to educate and raise awareness on why bees are so integral to ecosystems around the world.

Today, The House of Honey has expanded to 28 staff, 500 hives, and 50 million bees. They proudly showcase all things honey and bee-related from pollen, royal jelly and handmade beeswax candles to beauty products and giftware. They also run exciting, educational experiences and tourism adventures through tours, workshops, events, and more. The House has become recognised for the exciting flavour combinations at their onsite café and meadery.

Pull up a chair and get comfortable as they serve you enchanting local delights that capture the essence of the Swan Valley. Once you’ve browsed the Honey shop, sampled their award-winning honeys, and seen the bees in action at the observation hive, it’s time to relax at the Sticky Spoon Café. Surrounded by Lavender, Wisteria and David Austin Roses, you’re invited to enjoy a selection of beverages (like their barista-made coffee) and sweets, lovingly crafted with secret House recipes.

A beverage that’s been enjoyed and fine-tuned over thousands of years, mead is a type of honey-wine. Boasting a distinct body, mead is a concoction of honey and water fermented by yeast, enhanced with fruits, spices, grains and/or hops. They brew several mead varieties in-house — some are rich and full-bodied, others are light and airy, but all have showcase a warm, lingering honey sensation. Image Credit: House of Honey & Sticky Spoon Cafe Video Credit: Christian Porter
