Taiwanese food is packed with aromatic ingredients and when they come together, they create an array of delicious flavours. Celebrating those intense flavours in Singapore is Shawn Kishore, the founder of The Salted Plum. You’d find their a la carte menu pretty unique as it is divided according to dishes priced at S$5, S$10, S$15 and S$20. We recommend their Signature Braised Pork Belly with ‘Dang Gui’ Haus Sauce, Overnight Braised Duck Wings in Spicy Haus Sauce, Golden Fried Pork Chop, Wagyu Karubi Steak and Fluffy Crab Omelette. Their Haus Bubble Tea with various flavours go very well with the food.

Sumptuous fried chicken with a kick of five spice at The Salted Plum is a delight.

The spice goes well with the tang of the preserved orange and calamansi. You can order this Fried Chicken 2.1 for S$15 or opt for a fried chicken rice bento meal for S$14.90 served with braised cabbage, silken tofu, smashed cucumber, bok choy & pickles, sous-vide egg and white rice.

We dig the bento meals at The Salted Plum especially the meaty delights offered in their premium variety for S$14.9.

Chow down braised beef, pork chop or fried chicken with a side of braised cabbage, silken tofu, smashed cucumber, bok choy and pickles, sous vide egg and white rice.

The perfect meal for a growling stomach.
