I love everything about this place - it's homely, cozy, welcoming. people are really nice, they'll tell you what ingredients are in your food if you ask, i've also received complimentary biscotti while waiting on a lasagna dish to be made. the food is a whole other thing... the concept behind their food is what makes them stand out. healthy, plant-based, natural ingredients, no artificial sugar/preservatives etc, no garlic/onion/pungent spices. you'd think this limits what they can do with their menu, but actually they make pretty creative dishes. they have classic dishes from both malaysian and western cuisines, but with their own unique takes on them... vegan nasi lemak. pesto pasta using pumpkin seeds. very interesting. and it's healthier than what you'd get in most places around.
everything that i've tried so far tastes really good, except one time i had the classic soup delight which was a tad too salty - didn't realize until i felt the aftertaste. but everything else taste wise was top-notch. this is a place i would recommend to anyone really - family, friends, tourists, anyone with specific food sensitivities/preferences, anyone who wants to eat healthier while dining out. oh one more thing......please open a branch in or closer to city center!!
