Leopold Now Delivers Islandwide, and this menu is awesome, so varied and full of surprises. Your reporter here cannot go past the meat loaf rolls.... OMG!

A popular scene restaurant and bar where people came to dine, pre-corona days, and will again - I might add, others would simply meet for a drink and some would book the place out for a good old party.

The cuisine is developed by a native Austrian and everywhere in the bistro you can find some Austrian and German influences and not to forget all their wine, beer and spirits as well as self-imported food products.

The food is really good. We had the Fried and battered chicken with potato salad ($16), The beef meatballs ($14) and the Mum's chocolate dumplings ($12). The chicken was super tender and the batter was light and seasoned well. The potato salad had a citrus base which made it light and refreshing instead of the usual heavy cream based potato salads. The meatballs were juicy and flavorful, though the mash they came with was so so.

Lastly the chocolate used in the chocolate dumplings was very nice - not the usual Hershey's taste but something better, perhaps with a bit of hazelnut taste as well. However, the dumpling skin to chocolate stuffing ratio could be better. Overall, food was excellent, with very few, if any, issues.

For drinks we had the amber bowl and the Leopold gin and tonic. Both were good.

Lastly, the service and ambience were both pleasant.

Definitely recommended.

Service and ambience was excellent too.
