While 2015 saw matcha green tea powder catapult onto the health food scene, 2016 has bigger and brighter (green) things on the horizon. Introducing Australia’s first specialty matcha café – Matcha Mylkbar – located on the bustling corner of Acland St and Carlisle St. The Matcha Mylkbar is here to inject a much-needed boost of #cleaneating creativity into the St Kilda food scene.
In a bold move, it is entirely plant-based following the eating patterns common to the world’s highest longevity zones, also known as the “blue zones”.
