The first private Portuguese home cooking in Singapore was born through Green Apron with the intention of making Portuguese gastronomy and its culture known.
Chef Daniel Alves has perfected the flavours of his Piri Piri Chicken, one dish that seems to be recognised as a Portuguese dish by locals. Chef Daniel has had many requests to serve this succulent, delicious Roast Chicken Dish.

In Portugal hosts do not like to cook chicken when they host a good meal because chicken is ‘not good enough’. Do you know that beans used to cost more than a fresh chicken in Portugal?
This is a dish of Portuguese roots from Portuguese colonies Angola and Mozambique. The key to Chef Daniel's cuisine is his secret sauce that is zesty - and just a little on the spicy side.
