Feather Blade Returns to Tanjong Pagar

An uncompromising steakhouse and cocktail bar that specialises in alternative steak cuts, particularly the feather blade cut, after shutting its doors to diners in 2020, Feather Blade is making a return to the dining scene, this time along Tanjong Pagar Road.

Here, guests can expect a revamped food and beverage menu, alongside stunning interiors conceptualised by Owiu Studio, the same people behind the design for its sister restaurant, Rappu.

If you don’t already know, the Feather Blade steak is the second most tender cut of beef you can get. However, it requires great skill to yield a perfectly tender steak as one has to expertly trim off the layers of sinew (the chewy stuff) that surround these juicy steaks.

Besides the iconic Feather Blade Steak and Handshake Burger, be sure to make room for elevated side dishes like the Potatoes, which are now fried in wagyu beef fat and dressed with dollops of dill cream and ikura.

Fancy a drink? The bar is helmed by Diageo World Class winner Boo Jing Heng, who crafts tipples like the Beefy Old Fashioned, made with wagyu fat-washed bourbon.

Satiate your hunger pangs with an all in one feast that is the Gyūdon. Think sukiyaki-marinated Feather Blade steak on warm pillows of Japanese rice, topped with caramelised onions, garlic chips, furikake, an oozing onsen egg. Top it up with either Foie Gras or Scallops.

Part of the The Feather Blade v2.0 programme now sees potatoes deep fried in Wagyu beef fat and topped with bubbles of ikura and dill cream, knocking out the previously lacklustre sriracha mayo.
