A popular Tex-Mex eatery, Muchachos is well-known for their generous portions at ridiculously affordable prices.
Customers particularly love their Pollo Asado (Chicken Burrito) which goes for just SGD $12 and some say that the Buttermilk Fried Chicken (SGD $16) is the best fried chicken they’ve ever tasted (quite a recommendation!).
If you’re the kind of person who fills up easily, there’s an option to choose a smaller ‘Burritino’ as well, so the food doesn’t go to waste.

Feast on hearty—read: gigantic—portions, and no-frills, Cali-Mex style food when you order in at Muchachos. While it’s not quite ‘traditional’ Mexican, you’ll get Californian burritos, packed with meaty goodness, cushioned in a fluffy casing, some killer Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and a kickass fish quesadilla. Pro-tip: Muchachos guacamole makes everything better, that, and a couple of ice-cold beers.
I've had Muchachos a few times with my office colleagues. We all put our order in to our office manager and then she orders the lot on deliveroo. The food arrives, and it's almost like an office ritual the giving out of the lunch selections. I often order the Carnitas salad bowl with pork. It's a great deal for $12. I like Muchachos but the taste can sometime be a little too bland... like the pork has no flavor...maybe it is over cooked or not enough seasoning or maybe it is over micro-waved... I'm not sure what their process is but the end result is that the food is a filler for lunch.... and that's about it...full but not completely satisfied.
