Bangkok Publishing Residence (BPR) is an accommodation-slash-museum that will transport you back to Thailand’s publishing heyday in the mid-twentieth century. Luxury Bed and Breakfast and Books. An Adult-Only Accommodation in Bangkok.
Taken up six blocks of authentic 1960s shop-house on Lan Luang road, the residence was once a publisher’s family home and a birthplace of the legendary Bangkok Weekly magazine.
After a seven-year renovation, today the former printing house is lovingly restored into an exclusive bed & breakfast, offering eight individually designed rooms where you can rest comfortably with warm and friendly service.
Eight well-appointed guest rooms are designed to reflect nostalgic charm and to give you extra comfort, privacy, and refinement like a true home away from home. It is an ideal place for travelers seeking charm, relaxation, and convenience in Bangkok.
While antique furniture, and timeworn wooden floor add the touch of retro feel. That is not to say modern amenities are lacking, many thoughtful touches like Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso machine, and the incredibly comfy micro-gel mattress toppers are subtly added to the overall Old World ambience.
As the majority of the guests considered them an ADULTS ONLY property, they strictly do not accommodate children under the age of 15.
Their residence only provides complimentary breakfast for checked-in guests. For lunch, dinner, and drinking spots, their Guest Relations will happily advise you to delectable places nearby. Healthy home-style breakfast is served at the lobby between 8 am to 10 am.
In addition to the usual eggs and sausages cooked to order, you’re invited to help yourself to a buffet of tropical fruits, freshly squeezed juices, organic yoghurt, cereals, breads, and cold meat selections. Vegan and gluten-free items are available upon request. Image Credit: Bangkok Publishing Residence Facebook Page
