Cape Horn is a family run vineyard first established in the early 1860's and originally catering for the thriving riverboat trade along the Murray River between Echuca and Barmah.
They specialize in producing award winning warm climate varietals such as Marsanne and Durif and a selection of other varietals and styles. The cellar door is open 7 days for tastings and wood fired pizzas are available on weekends and during school holidays. They also cater for weddings and special events.
The newly constructed 2 storey 5 bedroom Vineyard Villa features breathtaking Murray River and Vineyard vistas from every window. The heart of this Vineyard Villa is its open plan lounge and dining with extensive vineyard and Murray River views.
The outdoor picnic area is available all year round with either umbrellas to shade or wood fires to warm. And it is perfect for the entire family, including your pooch. There are games to play for the young and older, a children’s play ground and a large chess board to test your strategic thinking. All whilst enjoying our wines or a beverage from our fully stocked bar.

The courtesy bus is available for groups of 10 adults or more and can accommodate up to 21 per trip. They are more than happy to collect you and return you home at the end of a wonderful day out at Cape Horn Vineyard & Cellar Door. They also provide a boat jetty if you prefer to visit us by river and even a yard if your mode of transport is of an equine variety. You will love our venue so much that you’ll wish to stay with us.
