Retro is a style that’s consciously derivative or imitative of trends, modes, fashions, or attitudes of the recent past. It generally implies a vintage of at least fifteen or twenty years.

Located in Cooran, a rural hinterland town and locality in the Shire of Noosa, Queensland, Australia, The Vintage Junction is a combination of a cafe, retro crockery, and upcycled furniture.

Great place for gluten-free and vegan cakes. They also have amazing vintage wares and is a community hub for people to hang out at.

Gluten-free is food that contain wheat, barley, rye, or triticale — or an ingredient derived from them — must be labeled with the name of the grain in the label's content list.

Vegans are vegetarians who avoid all animal and animal-derived products.

There are also things to look at The Vintage Junction. There are many unique upcycled furniture and decorative items to shop for if you are redecorating on a budget.

Upcycling is a form of recycling that focuses on transforming an unwanted item or material into a quality, visually improved, and valued product. It can be an old piece of furniture that you strip back and repaint which turns it into an individual furniture piece that would otherwise have gone to a landfill.
