Mark Douglass is a Melbourne lighting designer that specialises in hand blown glass lighting and contemporary chandeliers.
Mark Douglass is a well-known Australian artist, interior designer and entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience within the fine art and design industry.
Awarded 2012 Churchill Trust Fellowship, this prestigious award recognises Mark's impressive body of work as a master glass artist, as well as the contribution he has made over more than 20 years to the Australian glass art industry.
Mark has been responsible for the design of many projects in Australia and most recently in Macau and Mainland China where Mark has been commissioned to design a range of feature glass installations for Crown Casino Macau, Galaxy Casino Macau, Grand Park Hyatt, Crowne Plaza Guangzhou, Westin Hotel Xiamen, Sheraton Hotels and MGM Casino Macau.
Mark's career focus shifted primarily to glass-blowing and lighting in 2010 when he launched his first design range pieces. Mark's atelier, Melbourne Glassworks, a fully contained state-of-the-art Glass Studio and events space in Kensington, allows Mark to freely produce and trial new bespoke designs.
