Can we get this woman an Emmy already!

Episode 12 Season 5, more than ever, relied on complete collaboration. Hear more about how the Outlander Season 5 finale came together from Caitriona Balfe, Showrunner Matthew B. Roberts, Executive Producer/Writer Toni Graphia, and Director Jamie Payne.

This is a transcendent performance by a brilliant actress at the very height of her acting powers. Also to include the egregiously overlooked work of Sam Heughan', too. If these award shows were actually about the task of assessing the BEST work in television, both Caitriona and Sam would have been recognized, years ago, for the brilliant work they have been doing on Outlander. In any case, this performance is sure to make it easier for Caitriona to attain more quality roles beyond the Outlander Universe.

Let's hope we all see Caitriona Balfe, in more movies soon.

So, what is Outlander all about? After serving as a British Army nurse in World War II, Claire Randall is enjoying a second honeymoon in Scotland with husband Frank, an MI6 officer looking forward to a new career as an Oxford historian. Suddenly, Claire is transported to 1743 and into a mysterious world where her freedom and life are threatened. To survive, she marries Jamie Fraser, a strapping Scots warrior with a complicated past and a disarming sense of humour. A passionate relationship ensues, and Claire is caught between two vastly different men in two inharmonious lives. `Outlander' is adapted from the best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon.
