Located in the newly created Tyersall-Gallop Core of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, The Learning Forest was designed to combine with the pre-existing rain forest. Take a walk along the intricate network of boardwalks and elevated walkways that allow you to explore a variety of habitats, from a freshwater forest wetland to a lowland rainforest. Make sure you allot enough time to see the Wild Fruit Trees Arboretum, Bambusetum, and Bark of Trees if you have a bit of green thumb.

The Gardens showcase the best and most spectacular of tropical flora, including more than 10,000 types of plants and the region’s most significant living collection of documented palms, orchids, cycads and gingers.

A great walk around and at times, enjoy the live music being played (weekend) There is a pretty good fusion restaurant Fusion Spoon. For halal restaurant, one may try The Halia - their food is pretty good. Good place to bring your children for a walk and get in touch with the nature. I recall a gigantic tree situated near The Halia restaurant. Check it out!

Fabulous place to stroll leisurely or power walk or anything in between. Gorgeous flowers, trees and lots of birds, fish, etc to see. Be sure to try one of the yummy cafes, eating places there, too. Don't miss Orchid Garden - minor charge but well worth it.

The night stroll on week nights is a good experience if you want to be alone with your thoughts. With the yellow and blue lines fully operational, it's also so much more accessible.

We love the Botanic Gardens for many reasons: - I really enjoy to go for my morning walks in there - green, relaxing, beautifully landscaped as well as options to go into the jungle. - As a family we love the Saturday/Sunday evening concerts (usually free of charge) where we take our picnic mats along and gather with friends to enjoy the music and food/drinks - My visitors enjoy strolling through the gardens and the Orchid Garden is always much appreciated. A must if you like flowers. I would definitely recommend to spend 2 hours at the gardens just to get a good feel of it and see the different features.

Great way to spend a weekend. Wonder through the gardens, have a meal, catch a concert, take the kids to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden... So much to see and do but with a different pace to the bustling city. A beautiful place in such a convenient location.
