The Benesse House Museum was opened in 1992 as a facility that integrates a museum and a hotel with the concept of "coexistence of nature, architecture, and art." Together with the site-specific work scattered inside and outside the museum, such as works facing the nature of Naoshima or inspired by architecture, they are creating a rare place where nature, art and architecture merge.
