Another new log cake to look forward to is the Brandy White Chocolate Chestnut Log Cake (1kg, $68nett) that pays homage to the well-loved Mont Blanc. This rendition of the Yule log features vanilla sponge soaked in brandy and interlaced with whipped white chocolate ganache and a generous filling of premium chestnuts imported from France; the layers are enrobed by delicate vanilla buttercream; the earthy flavour of the chestnut paste pairs well with brandy. This one's got my name on it..... pure heaven....
