Nomad is an upbeat restaurant in a converted warehouse serving contemporary Australian cuisine with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean accents. Some of the world’s finest produce and best wine is found here. We source the best produce from small growers who share that passion and, inspired by our travels through Spain, Morocco and the Middle East, cooked with fire and smoke.

Our wine list also has a focus on small growers making great wine sustainably, with a few internationals that share that same ethos. We make our own charcuterie, cheese and bread. Our wine list focuses on small growers making great wine sustainably sourced. Some of the special diets that we cater to include Vegetarian friendly, Vegan options, and Gluten free options.

The food here is stunning - faultless, honest, and well thought through. The eggplant took me by surprise, the fried olives were stunning and the lamb shoulder was 'fall off the bone' delicious. Service was so friendly, impeccable communication, asked what time we needed to be out by and timed every dish perfectly. Wine recommendations were stellar. Can't wait to go back.

This softly lit Surry Hills restaurant woos diners with its elegant industrial-chic dining space. Nomad is located in a turn-of-the-century warehouse that manages to be both comfortable and strikingly contemporary. The mission to bring the country to the city applies to Nomad’s delicious food too, which celebrates regional New South Wales and Australian produce sourced seasonally from farmers and local providors.
