Latinada is back in Singapore for the second time, held this year from Sunday 8 September through to Monday 16 September and bringing with it a host of exciting events, delicious drinks, and masses of lip-smacking delights to feast on.

Here’s your guide to what will go down at Latinada 2019. (Click here for a complete list of events and venues)

Kicking off the week-long festivities on Sunday 8 September 2019 is “Domingo Tropical!”, where the Camp Kilo Charcoal Club will be transformed into a vibrant and buzzing street-food festival area.

This is a great place to get your Latin food favourites, as well as try some new and exotic dishes. The themed cocktails available will certainly help get you in the mood for dancing (if those irresistible Latin beats don’t get you there first).

Next up is “Rumba Latina”, which will be held at the Kilo Lounge on Thursday 12 September. Featuring both a live band and a DJ pumping out Latin American sounds including all your favourites – Bachata, Salsa, Jive, Merengue, and many more –  the music will be non-stop, so this is time to let your hair down and let those moves out (don’t worry, the cocktails will be flowing here as well!).

Heightening the excitement of the event, Chefs Daniel Chavez and Tamara Chavez will be working on some delectable sandwiches for you to munch on (available till 2 a.m. in case you work up an appetite dancing).

Kilo Kitchen will be hosting the next big event on Saturday 154 September, the “Latino Tapas Party!”. Enjoy a series of mouth-watering tapas which will be served in a casual setting communal style, giving you the opportunity to chat with the host of other food enthusiasts in attendance.

“Our Journey Back Home”, the final event, will be held on MOnday 16 September at Bochinche. This magnificent 5-course meal has chefs from three different Latin American countries preparing their signature dishes, during which you might forget altogether that you’re actually in Singapore and not in Latin America (no joke, their food really is just that good).

Exotic food, seductive music, delicious drinks & dancing – what better way could there be to spend a week – and you don’t even have to go that far. Latinada 2019 is bringing the party to you.

Good vibe. Music is chic and the whole feel of the place is relaxing. Attended the flea Market and sat there ordered drinks and food. The menu is pricey tough. 600gram of seabass for 30. 100 gram of roast pork for 10. Wine is 14 a glass. Wannie Michelmann recommends Camp Kilo Charcoal Club on Facebook. Took the dog for a walk and decided to stop by for a light lunch. Got a half roast chicken(Thai) and a Pomelo salad. The chicken was excellent. Tender and grilled to perfection. The salad at first looked like it had way too much dressing. But affect I started to eat it there was a brilliant kick off chilli at the end which was balanced by the dressing. I was so impressed I ordered the short rib and the pork ribs (BBQ and jerk) to go. The meats were tender and falling off the bone. The flavors were sublime. Best bbq I've had in Singapore. Different and yet a comparable meal to BBQ I've eaten in Texas. The service also was fantastic. A dish of cold water for the pooch as soon as we got there. And he enjoyed the roast chicken as much as I did too. Ajay Mathur reviewed Camp Kilo Charcoal Club on Facebook

BoCHINche is a vibrant expression of enthusiasm, fuelled by chef Diego Jacquet’s knack for putting together bold flavours with quality products. Just like Singapore, Argentina is a mixed bag of different cultures, and daily life is inextricably woven with a love for food. Bochinche celebrates that great passion for food and the social custom of gathering to dine, at the same time dispelling the notion that Argentinean cuisine is only about meat. The menu brims with creativity, offering an array of dishes that proudly showcase diverse produce and styles of cooking.
