I am often asked to suggest a meeting place for international friends and guests visiting Singapore to catch up when they visit Resorts World Sentosa.

I found my answer this week with the launch of Harry's New Flagship outlet at Resorts World Sentosa which boasts the largest selection of drinks on tap in Singapore.

Harry's Resorts World Sentosa

Family friendly, live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and a menu that will satisfy all appetites - no mater age of culture.

Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa features Singapore’s largest selection of drinks on tap, with a total of 32 selections ranging from craft and commercial beers to cocktails and kid-friendly favourites.

Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa also offers the newly launched Tropical Sun Harry’s Premium Pale Ale.

Harry’s story began along Boat Quay as an intimate jazz bar in 1992. The iconic outlet introduced over a million customers to well-known music acts from around the world and was touted as an institution for performers and lovers of jazz.

Today, Harry’s International is recognised as one of Singapore’s long-standing F&B brands with 28 outlets across Asia; 21 in Singapore, four in India and three in Myanmar. A testament to its success, the brand was recently awarded Top Brand 2019 – Bar & Dining by Influential Brands.

Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa boasts a 221-seater space sectioned into four entertainment zones.  As guests take their first steps through the outlet via the Brewers Living Hall, their attention is immediately drawn to the outlet’s pièce de résistance: Harry’s record-breaking 32 drinks on tap, the largest selection in Singapore.

Those feeling ravenous will want to take a bite out of the sumptuous pulled Beef Rendang Burger ($18++) topped with achar, a healthy yet moreish Grilled Teriyaki Salmon & Soba ($26++) with sesame dressing or, for the spice heads, Harry’s modern take on Singapore’s perennial street food icon, laksa, the Dry Laksa Pasta ($22++) topped generously with tiger prawns, tao pok and eggs.

Carnivores can look forward to the mouth-watering Chilli Beef Meatballs Stew ($22++) of bouncy beef balls and a poached egg drenched in a picante chilli beef stew, or start the day like royalty with the Breakfast of Champions ($20++), with Italian pork chipolata, bacon and sautéed mushrooms on a toasted brioche topped with a sunny sideup.

Harry's Resorts World Sentosa

Its ceiling, an eye-catching assembly of hollow beer tank fixtures, sets a jovial mood and is the de facto restful playground for visitors taking respite from the day’s activities. Within the space is also a performance stage where renowned Singaporean music acts perform on a regular basis.

Harry's Resorts World Sentosa

Home to Singapore’s largest selection of drinks on tap, the extensive offering of 32 includes the outlet exclusive Tropical Sun Harry’s Premium Pale Ale ($13++ for half pint; $16++ for full pint), brewed with Cascade, Chinook and Pacifica hops to create a distinct citrus aroma.

Also available on tap is a selection of local craft beers from homegrown brewery Archipelago ($12++ for half pint, $15++ for full pint), and on a rotational basis, seasonal guest beer options at $13++ for a half pint and $16++ for a full pint.

Oenophiles and cocktail aficionados can also indulge in the six taps dedicated to them. They dole out wines like Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz ($13++) and cocktails, such as the iconic Singapore Sling ($20++).

A first for Harry’s and something exclusive to the Resorts World Sentosa outlet is the option of a Beer Flight ($17++), where guests can enjoy four mini pints from any of the available Harry’s house, craft and seasonal guest beers.

Harry’s- everyone knows it! How can you not with 21 locations across the little red dot? The very first place I had my inaugural drink in Singapore was at Harry’s Boat Quay. Coming full circle, I had a taste for a few more IPAs at their newest location on Sentosa. Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa is easy to find, just of the first tram stop in Resorts World. Walking in I was warmly greeted by the lovely Vanessa as local band O.K Ready! was adeptly playing a bit of U2 in the back ground. Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa has live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was then ushered into “Harry’s Parlour”, walls adorned with a variety of vintage posters accenting the fun atmosphere Harrys is known for. Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa has a few areas for eating, drinking and overall merriment. In addition to the parlour there’s the main area overlooking the bar and music stage. As well as an outdoor patio that is off the main drag if you are looking for a peaceful tranquil setting. As I was very thirsty, I immediately began to peruse the drinks menu. So many choices so little time, so I went for the beer flight option because why choose only one? My beer flight consisted of their four seasonal beers which change every two months. For my drinking dessert I moved on to the classic Singapore Sling. I really liked Harry’s sling, it wasn’t as syrupy as others I’ve had in pricier places and satiated my need for something sweet. What makes this Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa stand out from the others is the 32 beers, wines and cocktails they have on tap. You aren’t going to find that variety and selection anywhere else in Singapore. I need to go back to test out the wines on tap. Harrys’ has always been known for being family friendly and the Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa outlet is no exception. The have Ribena and Milo on tap for the kidos. There’s also a game room, with a billiard table and two arcade machines programmed with over a thousand video games. You can get your geek on with classic favourites such as such as “Super Mario Brothers” and “Marvel vs. Cap Com.” So, if you’re on Sentosa and you’re looking for a casual, affordable, fun meet up place that is great for kids and adults, pop into Harry’s Resorts World Sentosa and say hello. After all it’s their 27th year!!

Established in August 1992 as an intimate jazz bar in Boat Quay, Harry’s has transformed over the years into an established, homely neighbourhood bar. They are currently Singapore’s largest chain of bar and dining establishments, with 21 outlets located across the island. Its latest new additions in 2019 are at Robertson Quay, China Square Central and Resorts World Sentosa, while plans have been set for further expansion throughout Asia, with its foreign foothold currently in Myanmar and India. Harry’s holds a few awards to its name, and these include the prestigious Novateur Award Winner of 2015 at the inaugural Asia Enterprise BRAND Awards, the distinguished Outstanding Brands Award 2016 in the Bar and Dining Category, as well as Top Brand 2019 – Bar & Dining by Influential Brands. The awards serve to affirm their position as a key market leader.
