Hong Kong’s first ever Sexy Crab Crab Roe Lava Sticky Rice Dumpling is named after the Brand’s delectable crab roe filling that oozes roe when opened like lava from an erupting volcano.
The crabulously indulgent secret recipe has taken three months of product development to perfect, in accordance with Sexy Crab's golden precisely measured ratio of 20 percent crab meat, 50 percent male roe and 30 percent female roe.
In line with tradition, salted egg yolks are also key to dragon boat dumplings, contributing to a gastronomic match made in heaven of savoury crab roe, egg yolk and glutinous sticky rice, traditionally wrapped in bamboo leaf.
According to tradition, Baekmidang’s Sweet Sticky Rice Dumpling features filling of red bean, using Jeju Island’s famous recipe for the popular sweet paste with a new flavour of additional red date.
Sexy Crab’s secret recipe XO sauce is made with delights such as conpoy, dried shrimp, dried shrimp roe, Jinhua ham and more, pairing perfectly with sticky rice dumpling for a huge flavour boost, while Korean rice sugar sauce pairs with sweet dumpling.
With a chic twist on crab tradition, this dining destination is also dressed to impress, in an exclusive, intimate, retro vintage, 23-seat haven of dark mahogany décor and open kitchen, complete with grandiose mirrors reflecting whimsical neon lighting and a classic 1930s Shanghai-style Long Bar.
