Coliwoo, a co-living subsidiary brand under real estate management services group, LHN Limited (“LHN”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), has launched Orchard’s largest co-living residence. Named Coliwoo Orchard, the 22-storey property is located at 2 Mount Elizabeth Link and houses a total of 411 keys across 135 units.
This is the second largest Coliwoo property to date, after Coliwoo Boon Lay with 437 keys. This announcement follows seven other launches by Coliwoo in 2022, across its Residence and Hotel portfolios – Coliwoo Hotel Amber, Coliwoo Hotel Amber Katong, Coliwoo Balestier 320, Coliwoo 75BR, Coliwoo Hotel Gay World, Coliwoo Serangoon 450 and Coliwoo Lavender Collection. With additional properties currently in the pipeline, it is expected to bring Coliwoo’s total keys to around 2,500 by end of 2023.
Located amidst the luxury of Orchard and being a few minutes walk from Orchard MRT Station, Coliwoo Orchard provides easy access to various shopping, entertainment, and healthcare hubs.
With flexible lease terms, members can enjoy a term as short as six nights with the option to extend the contract if required. Suitable for individuals, modern local families, and expatriates alike, these co-living residential units house state-of-the-art facilities for work, life and play, as well as work-from-home-enabled studio units with co-working communal spaces and meeting areas.
Inspired by contemporary and modern designs synonymous with luxury, Coliwoo developed each unit with the intention of capturing the nuances of elegance and finesse. The warm palettes and hints of brass, gold, and wood bring home a touch of high-end hospitality through aesthetics of upscale city living and a cosy ambience.
A self-sufficient studio apartment-like environment remains paramount across Coliwoo’s properties. As such, each SoHo-inspired unit at Coliwoo Orchard comes retrofitted with a queen-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, wardrobe cum personal storage area, vanity, dining table, smart television, and workstation. This allows members the ability to work, live, and play comfortably within their own environments.
Communal facilities such as the swimming pool, children’s pool, jacuzzi, co-working lounge, gymnasium, and BBQ pit are designed with the community in mind, where people from all walks of life can come together to work, play, and form meaningful connections.
Additionally, members can look forward to an open plaza located conveniently next to the BBQ pit and swimming pool that can be transformed for events. From a tranquil group yoga session to a neighbourly picnic filled with laughter and fun, this shared area provides members with the ideal space to meet, live, and grow together.
In alignment with the Group’s sustainability strategy, the property’s expansive rooftop will be used for the placement of solar panels to produce clean solar energy – courtesy of LHN Energy Resources. This energy will partially power the co-living facilities. Electric Vehicle Charging Systems will also be installed on-site to fuel the changing needs of members.
Supporting the local arts scene, Coliwoo Orchard will also feature murals of local artists’ works. These pops of colour within the property are set to complement the luxurious earthy tones of the studio interiors, while injecting a distinct local flavour - honouring Orchard Road’s reputation and heritage as a Singaporean landmark.
Starting 2023 off with a bang, Coliwoo Orchard is the first of many exciting co-living launches Coliwoo has lined up for the near future. Highly anticipated projects currently underway include 298 River Valley, 48 and 50 Arab Street, as well as 404 Pasir Panjang.
Like with all of Coliwoo’s properties, the acquisition of these nostalgic spaces further adds to the co-living operator’s ever-growing island-wide collection of co-living residences and hotels. These upcoming projects embody and continue Coliwoo’s well established legacy of revitalising Singapore’s classic buildings and readying them for the modern age.
